When you select one of our destinations, we’ll ask you to complete a form to capture your preferences and any other relevant details. You’ll receive a personalized itinerary tailored to your needs, typically within a week. There are no fees or obligations to complete the form and receive your itinerary. If any modifications are needed, we’ll request the service fee before proceeding. Once you approve your itinerary, we’ll finalize the payment and book your selections. If you’d prefer to discuss anything over the phone, simply click 'Contact Us' to schedule a call at your convenience.
What is a service fee?
Our Professional Services Fee of $1,000 is designed to ensure that your travel experience is seamless and exceptional from start to finish. This fee covers:
Personalized consultation and expert advice tailored to your preferences
In-depth research and customized recommendations to create the perfect itinerary
Preparation of detailed quotes and itineraries to ensure every aspect of your trip is covered
Booking and securing reservations for accommodations, activities and flights
Providing quotes for comprehensive travel insurance for peace of mind
Ongoing management and coordination of your trip from deposit through the end of your trip
Post-trip follow-up with suppliers as needed to ensure everything meets your expectations

Why might I be placed on a waitlist?
In order to maintain a high level of personalized attention, we intentionally limit the number of clients we serve at any given time. This ensures that each client receives the utmost care, focus and customization throughout their travel experience. By keeping our client-to-agent ratio low, we can dedicate our full attention to curating your perfect journey—whether it’s securing reservations at the most sought-after spots or designing bespoke itineraries that you simply won't find anywhere else.
As a result, our services are in high demand. To ensure that we can provide the level of luxury you deserve, we may need to place you on a waitlist. But rest assured, once you’re in our hands, you’ll receive a white-glove service.
What happens after my trip is booked?
Prior to your departure, you'll receive both digital and physical copies of all the details, along with comprehensive information about your destination. Our goal is to provide you with everything you need, so you can relax and leave the research to us. From the moment you book until the end of your journey, we’re here to assist with any questions or needs that arise.
What is the vetting process like?
We’ve personally visited every destination we feature because we believe firsthand experience is the best way to ensure that each location and supplier meets our high standards. We’re committed to rolling out the red carpet for you, and we expect the same level of excellence from our trusted suppliers.
Can I request a destination not listed on your site?
We’d love to hear about your bucket list! However, please note that not every destination you suggest may be featured on our site. We only offer destinations that we have personally vetted to ensure they meet our high standards. While we cannot accommodate one-off custom requests at this time, if enough people express interest in a particular destination, we’ll consider it for vetting. If it meets our criteria, we’ll be excited to feature it on our site.

Does Niksen Travel offer packaged vacations?
No. Niksen Travel is a travel agency, not a tour operator. We do not offer packaged vacations, and Niksen Travel is not the source or provider of any travel services. Instead, we work with vetted suppliers to build you customized itineraries to destinations we have personally evaluated.
